Yukito Kishiro is absolutely on my top list of adored cartoonists/comics people/mangaka. Last month I finally finished rereading his entire Battle Angel Alita and sequel Last Order series and my oh my goodness he is just, man! Such a fantastic weirdo. Working his ass off making cyberpunk philosophical warrior manga decade after decade. Here’s a surprisingly innocent looking 12-year-old (I think in this scene?) gambler-photojournalist-and-all-around-menace Koyomi, one of my favorite characters of his.
